Ethel Meltz, 91, of Superior, died Wednesday, June 25, 2008, in St. Francis Home in the Park.

She was born Aug. 17, 1916, in Superior and was a lifelong resident.

Ethel was a member of the former Temple Beth-El in Superior and a member of Temple Israel in Duluth, and a life member of the Hadassah.

She is survived by her son, Robert (Ethel) Meltz of Gordon; two grandsons, Justin Meltz of Boise, Ind. and Nathan (Abby) Meltz of Troy, N.Y. and a great-grandchild Aldo.

She was preceded in death by her husband, Benjamin, in 1992.

Private family graveside services will be held on Monday in the Superior Hebrew Cemetery.

Downs Funeral Home is in charge of arrangements.
